Ruandatag 2010 
This year will be held on 18th Ruandatag September 2010 Prum in the Eifel region instead. The Regino-Gymnasium and the Kaiser-Lothar-secondary school will be hosted on that day and expect many visitors including Mr. Prime Minister Kurt Beck and the Rwandan Ambassador Christine Nkulikiyinka.

New pastor in Mibirizi 
Abbé Eugène Dusabirema be new pastor in Mibirizi. Pastor Eugene is a longtime friend of the parish of St. Martin and the partnership with Shangi and Muyange. In 2008, a delegation from St. Martin parish priest to visit Eugene in his old parish in the diocese of Cyangugu and he had accompanied the tour group for a few days in Rwanda.
On Sunday, 05 September 2010, will take over the parish priest Eugène now officially in which the hospital is also belong to the catchment area of our partner communities and Shangi Muyange. The hospital Mibilizi (. pdf) we were allowed to visit 2008th
Eugène was appointed pastor by Bishop Jean Damascene in the new post and is under a solemn divine services included in the community.

Priests and deacons ordained
In a solemn ceremony Félix Hakizimana were Mwito from a priest and Francois-Xavier Rukundo from Shangi ordained a deacon. The consecration was completed in July by Bishop Jean Damscène.
The two candidates declared their intention to the bishop and consecrated to the service in the Catholic Church. They promised obedience to the bishop and have been through laying on of hands, blessing the central characters, recorded in the clergy.
The first Mass of Félix Hakiziman took place in the Church of Shangi and was viewed as the Weihefest of many Christians from the entire surrounding area. Several hundred people had come and many had placed a walk of several hours back, they had already started walking in the night to be there in time.
We want Felix and Francois-Xavier all the best and want to congratulate you most warmly.

After the formal adoption of Rev. Norbert Kaiser met on Monday, 28.06.2010, guests of our partner communities in Rwanda and Uruguay, the World Church Committee and pastor of St. Martin Kaiser Keller and Pastor for brunch in the parish center.
Rosa, Dory and Daniel from Uruguay thanked Pastor Kaiser, especially in the name of Father Mario Hernandez, the co-founder of the partnership between the communities in Uruguay and Kaiserslautern, which unfortunately health reasons could not travel to Germany for the long-standing friendship and partnership. Dory recalled that created by the partnership with St. Martin, a close friendship and ties between Uruguay and Rwanda.
